The fifth Small batch is another sour, but this time with a very local type of sour cherry named maraska. Zadar is famous for this fruit and distillates and liqueurs that come from it. What we tried here was to make a fruity summer sour drink, but without any sugar addition. That makes it much less “Radler-like” and much more “wine/fruit/beer- like”. 🙂
So it’s fresh, fresh, fresh and sour-ish. We used lots of wheat malt and lactic acid bacteria. 0.5L, 4,5% alc
