Brewer with at least 5 years of experience

We are looking for an experienced brewer to play a key role in our day-to-day beer production. This
position is for someone who enjoys brewing, organising production activities, monitoring quality and
contributing their expertise to the whole team.

The role combines independent, practical work in the brewery with planning and organising daily
activities. You will oversee the production process from preparation and brewing through
fermentation and packaging, monitor quality, maintain production records and help the team deliver
the agreed production plan safely and efficiently.

Brlog is a cooperative craft brewery based in Zadar, Croatia, producing more than 100,000 liters annually, with a taproom that brings together the local community and beer lovers. More than 130 cooperative members invested in our idea and helped us build the brewery, purchase professional equipment and open our taproom. We believe in quality, innovation and teamwork. What will you do

• Develop the brewing plan , weekly and daily work schedules for the production team,
  coordinating brewing, fermentation, filling and cleaning.
• Brew independently, oversee the brewing process and actively participate in all stages of
  production, including filling, packaging and cleaning.
• Monitor process parameters, beer quality, production yields and losses.
• Maintain complete and accurate production records.
• Coordinate daily production activities and take part in filling and packaging.
• Monitor requirements for raw materials, packaging materials and production supplies.
• Maintain brewery hygiene, follow safe working practices, care for equipment and carry out basic maintenance.
• Contribute to recipe development and improvements to production processes.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of professional brewery experience.
• The knowledge and skills to independently manage beer production from brewing to the finished product.
• A sound understanding of fermentation, hygiene, quality control and brewery equipment.
• Experience in production planning and maintaining production records.
• Willingness to carry out physical work and work flexibly according to the production schedule.
• Ability to communicate in Croatian or English.
